The project aims to promote sustainability of natural resources and biodiversity conservation, and prevent over-harvesting whilst promoting sustainable livelihoods in the impoverished rural areas where unemployment rates are high. Through a handbook and workshops, awareness and education on the importance of biodiversity conservation will be improved, which will allow informed role players to practice long-term sustainable resource-use.
